Nanosized particles as building blocks for creation of nanostructures

The multidisciplinary course is addressed to bachelor, master and doctoral students with different educational backgrounds (physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, etc.). Lectures will be given by 10 high-level experts from five universities. The curriculum will emphasize fundamental phenomena relevant at the nanoscale, the fabrication and analysis of nanostructures and advanced applications of nanotechnology, including areas such as nanoelectronics, nanomagnetism, nanomechanics, nanotribology, biotechnology, medicine, diagnostics and novel drug design.
